An Important Notice from our FLA Nursing Staff

Dear Parents and Families,
In an effort to keep your children as healthy as possible, we are asking for your help. This is the season for Flu, Strep, gastric bugs and other communicable illnesses. It is very important to the health of the student population that we try to limit exposure to these illnesses and help control their spread within the school. Our school policy states that any child who has had a fever, vomiting, or was sent home for illness, must be free of fever and/or symptoms such as vomiting for a full 24 hours before returning to school. This will help break the cycle of illness within the school. Thank you for your help and understanding in your support of the health of our students. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
